Powered-lift/manual-push high-lift pallet jacks can lift loads faster and with less physical effort than manual high-lift pallet jacks. Also called powered pallet lifters, high-rise pallet trucks, scissor-lift pallet jacks, and skid jacks, they can lift open-bottom pallets and skids. The pallet jacks have an electric motor that activates their hydraulic pump to lift and lower the forks and keep them positioned at any height within their travel range. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery and is controlled with a push button. These pallet jacks must be pushed or pulled by hand.
